Yesterday ComicBook .com reported that Pokemon Go was finally coming to Japan two weeks after the US launch. However, TechCrunch.com now Niantic Labs reports that delayed the launch because of a leak email detailing plans for the game.
the leaked emails came from Japan McDonald, Japanese sponsor of the game, and were posted on several message boards yesterday. McDonald's locations 3000+ Japan will be transformed into Pokémon gyms under the sponsorship of Pokemon Go of the company.
Niantic decided to postpone Pokemon Go 's release after the emails went viral in Japan, the company was concerned that the hype would overload the servers of the game. Niantic previously rejected Pokemon Go 'the release in several countries including Japan, to add more server capacity to prevent the game from crashing frequently. Pokemon Go has been plagued by almost daily accidents due to overwhelming traffic since its US release it two weeks ago.
Despite the delay, Pokemon Go Japanese output is "imminent" and could come tomorrow.
